Description

This standard establishes general requirements for the procurement and supply of steam turbines and gas expansion turbines for industrial applications. This standard can be used as the basis for any application, however, the additional specifications can be required for special applications, for example, for general and special purpose industrial steam turbines used in the oil and gas industry. This standard applies to the axial and radial industrial turbines (steam and gas expansion turbines). It defines the basic requirements for single-stage and multi-stage active and reaction turbines. In addition, the present document defines certain requirements for the driven machines, gearboxes, lubrication systems, control systems, measuring and auxiliary equipment for the turbine plants. Exceptions to the requirements set forth in the present standard can be agreed between the buyer and the supplier. |
