Article 1. Basic terms The following terms are used in this Federal Law: atmosphere air – life-critical component of the environment representing natural mix of atmosphere gazes residing outdoor of dwelling, production and other type of apartments; harmful (contaminating) substance – chemical or biological substance or mix of such substances which are contained in the atmosphere air and which in appropriate concentration have an harmful influence on human health and on environment; atmosphere air contamination – ingress into the atmosphere air or creation in it of harmful (contaminating) substances in concentrations exceeding hygienic and ecological standards of the atmosphere air quality established by state government; harmful physical impact onto the atmosphere air – harmful impact of noise, vibration, ionizing radiation, temperature and other physical factors changing temperature, energy, wave, nuclear and other physical influence of the atmosphere air onto human health and onto environment. |
