Description

This Code of Practice covers various-application steel pipelines (hereinafter referred to as pipelines) with nominal diameter up to 1400 inclusive, intended for transportation of liquid and gaseous fluids at pressure up to 10 MPa and temperature from minus 70 °C to plus 450 °C inclusive, and establishes requirements for their strength and stability analysis. This Code of Practice does not apply to gas and oil mains and field pipeline, process piping and piping in mines, vacuum piping and piping systems subject to dynamic effects of the transported fluid, special piping (intended for nuclear plants, mobile units, hydraulic and pneumatic transport systems, etc.), as well as the piping installations specified in bibliography reference [1]. |
