1.1 This Code of Practice covers construction of new and reconstruction of existing trunk pipelines and their branches with nominal diameter up to (and including) DN 1400 and manometric fluid pressure not exceeding 10 MPa (100 kgf/cm 2 ) used for transportation of: oil, oil products, non-associated and associated, natural and synthetic hydrocarbon gases from the areas of their extraction (from base pumping and compressor stations), production or storage to the places of their consumption (petroleum storage depots, terminals, loading stations, gas distribution stations of cities, towns and populated areas, individual industrial and agricultural enterprises and ports); liquefied petroleum gases (fractions С 3 and С 4 and their combinations), as well as unstable gasoline and unstable condensate and other liquefied hydrocarbons with saturated vapor pressure not exceeding 1.6 MPa (16 kgf/cm 2 ) at 45°C from the areas of their extraction or production (from main pumping stations) to the places of their consumption (petroleum storage depots, terminals, loading stations, industrial enterprises, ports, gas distribution stations and local bases); salable products within base and intermediary gas compressor and oil pumping stations, underground gas storage stations, gas distribution stations, measuring points. 1.2 This Code of Practice does not cover construction of field pipelines, offshore trunk pipelines and trunk pipelines in areas with seismic hazard above 8 grade intensity MSK-64 scale for underground and above 6 grade intensity for aboveground pipelines. |
