Description
|
1.1. This Code of Practice establishes rules and regulations on design, construction, reconstruction, capital repairs, enlargement and retrofitting of boiler plants, operating on any kind of fuel, with total installed thermal capacity 360 kW and above with steam, hot-water and combined steam-and-hot-water boilers, with steam pressure not exceeding 3.9 MPa (40 kgf/cm 2 ), inclusive, and water temperature not exceeding 200°C, including installations for combined generation of electrical power for internal consumption. 1.2. This Code of Practice does not cover design of boiler plans of thermal power stations, including peaking and mobile boiler units, boiler plants with electrode boilers, waste heat boilers, boilers with high-temperature organic heat transfer agents and other specialized types of boilers for production purposes, as well as design of independent heat supply sources, integrated into buildings. 1.3. This Code of Practice does not relate back to and cannot be used for assessment of boiler plants constructed or boiler plants, construction of which started at least one year after this Code of Practice has been put into execution according to design documentation, developed in accordance with the requirements of the prior SNiP II-35. |
