GOST standard on financial and asset management

On September 1, the Russian standard GOST R 53633.13-2019 “Information technologies. Telecommunications management network. Enhanced Telecom Operations Map (eTOM). Process decompositions and descriptions. eTOM level 2 processes. Enterprise management. Financial and asset management" came into force.
GOST R 53633.13-2019 specifies the structure and Level 2 process elements for the group "Financial and asset management process", which is Level 1 structure element in the main eTOM Organization Management Area.
The new standard applies to financial management processes, which provide overall management of the organization's profits and losses, planning and paying taxes, guaranteeing income, collecting data and analyzing the organization's performance. In addition, the standard covers asset management processes that establish asset policies, monitor asset movements, and maintain an organization's overall balance sheet.
The standard is intended for use by telecommunication operators, system integrators and manufacturers of industrial process automation systems.
Telecommunication operators and/or network operators can apply the new standard when modeling, optimizing and reorganizing production processes and organizational structure, as well as when ordering automation systems for production processes.
