GOST standard on quality management in aerospace industry comes into force

National standard GOST R 58876-2020 “Quality management systems for organizations in the aviation, space and defense industries. Requirements" comes into force on from September 1, 2020.
The standard includes requirements for quality management systems ISO 9001:2015 and defines additional requirements, terms and definitions, as well as notes for the aviation, space and defense industries.
GOST R 58876-2020 establishes the requirements for quality management system in cases where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to continuously supply of products and (or) services that meet customer requirements as well as the requirements of current legislative and regulatory documents. Or it aims to increase customer satisfaction through effective application of quality management system, including processes for its improvement, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and requirements of applicable legislative and regulatory documents.
All requirements of GOST R 58876-2020 are of general nature and are intended for use by organizations regardless of their type, size, products supplied and services provided.
