New basic GOST standards in the field of fire safety

These standards are:

- GOST R 59637-2021 "Fire protection means of buildings and structures. Fireproofing. Quality control of fire retardant works during installation, maintenance and repair"

- GOST R 59639-2021 “Fire warning and evacuation systems. Guidelines for design, installation, maintenance and repair. Performance test methods"

- GOST R 59640-2021 "Fire protection means of buildings and structures. Fire protection curtains. Guidelines for design, installation, maintenance and repair"

- GOST R 59641-2021 "Fire protection means of buildings and structures. Fire-fighting primary means. Guidelines for design, installation, maintenance and repair"

- GOST R 59642-2021 "Fire protection means of buildings and structures. Filling openings in fire barriers. General requirements for installation, maintenance and repair”

- GOST R 59643-2021 “Internal fire-fighting water supply. Guidelines for design, installation, maintenance and repair"

- GOST R 59638-2021 “Fire alarm systems. Guidelines for design, installation, maintenance and repair. Performance test methods "

All the standards are effective from September 15, 2021.

Also in the list is the standard GOST R 59636-2021 “Automatic fire extinguishing units. Guidelines for design, installation, maintenance and repair. Performance test methods" which is effective from January 1, 2022.
