New GOST standard for combustion chambers of gas turbine engines

On January 1, 2021, the national standard GOST R 59000-2020 “Main combustion chambers of gas turbine engines. Scope and form of presentation of main parameters and characteristics" came into force.
The new standard applies to technical documentation, which establishes general provisions and requirements for the development, design, testing, qualification and certification of main combustion chambers.
The scope of information included in the reporting technical documentation and conclusions is determined by the terms of reference and requirements for a specific type of work.
GOST R 59000-2020 provides the possibility of interchange of technical documentation, its approval, the prompt preparation of documents and high quality graphs using modern methods and tools for creating technical documentation on personal computers and printing them on printers, facilitates the comparative analysis of the main combustion chambers of various engines.
