PV module conformity assessment standard

A new Russian national standard GOST R 56980.1-2020 “Photovoltaic modules. Conformity assessment to technical requirements. Part 1. Requirements for testing" was approved, which comes into force on January 1, 2021.
The new standard applies to flat panel photovoltaic modules intended for long-term outdoor operation in normal climatic zones and sets requirements for compliance testing.
The standard applies to photovoltaic modules designed to operate in photovoltaic systems with a rated DC voltage not exceeding 1500 V.
