Standard on electrical energy storage systems
8 November 2021
The national standard GOST R 58092.1-2021 “Electric energy storage (EES) systems. Terms and definitions” was adopted, which comes into force on December 1, 2021.
The new standard establishes terms and definitions in the field of electrical energy storage (EES) systems, including the terms necessary for the definition of device parameters, test methods, design, installation, safety and environmental issues.
The standard applies to ESSs that are part of the electric network / power system and are designed to solve problems on the side of the electric power industry entity, as well as connected to the electric network and designed to solve problems on the side of the consumer.
The terms established by GOST R 58092.1-2021 are recommended for use in all types of documentation and literature (for a given scientific and technical branch) that fall within the scope of standardization work and (or) use the results of these works.
