Description

This standard applies to aviation lead-acid batteries designed to: - autonomous launch of main and auxiliary aircraft engines or turbo starters; - providing power to individual receivers in ground conditions with non-operating main and auxiliary aircraft engines and the absence of power supply from aerodrome sources of electricity; - launch in flight of the stopped aircraft engine or turbo starter; - in-flight power supply of receivers of the first category during emergency operation of the power supply system. This standard does not apply to batteries designed before 2003. |
