This standard applies to all types of machines, instruments and other industrial products (hereinafter referred to as items) and establishes macroclimatic zoning of the globe, modifications, categories, operation conditions, storage and transportation conditions as to environment climatic aspects influence. The standard does not establish any values for the climatic factors for items, which are to be used in Central Antarctica. This standard should be applied for design and manufacture of items. In particular it should be applied during composition of technical assignments for the development and modernization of items, as well as for the development of state standards and engineering specifications, which establish the requirements in the part of impacts caused by climatic factors of the external environment, and if the said group documents are not available – for individual items. |
