Description
|
This standard applies to bars with circular and square cross-section, blooms, billets for pipes and rebars with a diameter or square side from 30 to 300 mm, made from carbon, alloyed and high-alloyed steels and alloys, and establishes the echo- pulse, shadow and echo reflection-shadow methods of ultrasonic inspection of a metal, or their combination with the purpose of revelation the internal defects within the sensitivity limits of the method. The general requirements for ultrasonic inspection methods shall be in accordance with GOST 12503-75 and GOST 20415-82. The terms and definitions shall be in accordance with GOST 23829-85 and reference Appendix. |
