Description
|
This standard covers the newly developed and upgraded systems, components and elements of the nuclear instrumentation systems, as well as the types of they support (hereinafter referred to as NI systems) used for monitoring of the condition and operation mode, control and protection of the equipment of nuclear steam generating facility (NSGF) and intended to be operated both independently and as a part of APCS of power units at stationary nuclear stations (NS) with nuclear reactors of different types. The standard does not cover the means of NI systems binding to NSGF equipment, nor NI systems for monitoring of radiation environment (SMRE) in NS territory and in areas belonging to NS. The terms used in this Standard and their explanations are given in Annex 1. Requirements of 3.1.2; 3.1.7; 3.5.5; 3.5.7; 5.1.8; 6.5 of this standard are recommended, the other requirements of this standard are mandatory. |
