Description
|
This standard applies to cargo-carrying geophysical armored cables (hereinafter referred to as cables) intended for lowering and lifting geophysical instruments and devices, supplying them with electric power and implementing informational communication between surface equipment and borehole devices during subsurface management and geophysical studies of wells. Cables are also designed to perform other tasks, including: - development of wells by swabbing; - ensuring the heating and elimination of paraffin plugs; - the implementation of keyhole blasting in wells. The standard establishes the parameters, characteristics and properties of cables, as well as the requirements for their manufacture, testing and operation. The provisions of this standard are mandatory in the development of cable specifications, the production of cables at manufacturers, the use of cables by consumers and the certification of cables. |
