Description
|
These Technical Regulations apply to technical products to be put into circulation within the common customs territory of the Customs Union which are capable to generate electromagnetic disturbances and/or whose quality of functioning depends on exposure to external electromagnetic disturbances. These Technical Regulations do not apply to technical products which: - are used by manufacturers of other technical products as components and are not intended to be used as - self-contained products; - are passive in terms of electromagnetic compatibility; - are not included into Unified List of Products which sets the mandatory requirements in the Customs Union, approved by the Customs Union Commission. If other technical regulations setting forth, in whole or in part, more definite requirements to electromagnetic compatibility for individual classes, groups and types of technical products are adopted by the Customs Union, then since the effective date of such other technical regulations of the Customs Union these Technical Regulations shall cease to apply to either such technical products or the requirements to electromagnetic compatibility. These Technical Regulations set forth requirements to electromagnetic compatibility of technical products with the purpose to protect human life, health and property as well as to prevent any actions that may mislead consumers (users) of technical products. These Technical Regulations do not apply to the relations connected with the use of the radio-frequency range, which is regulated by national legislations on radio/telecom in the CU member countries. |
