The present technical regulations establish safety requirements for the equipment during design (projection), manufacture (fabrication), and also the requirements for the marking of the equipment for the purpose of protection of life and health of people, property, and for the purpose of prevention of consumer-misleading actions. On the customs territory of the Customs union, present technical regulations establish uniform safety requirements for excess pressure equipment being newly released and intended for application on the customs territory of the Customs union (hereafter referred to as "equipment"); these requirements are obligatory for application and execution and provide free movement of the equipment. If other technical regulations of the Customs union are adopted for the equipment and establish the requirements for the equipment, then such equipment shall comply with the requirements of those technical regulations of the Customs union.
