Description

This standard clarifies and supplements the requirements of SP 20.13330.2011 to setting of external wind loads to be considered in calculations performed for buildings and facilities based on limit states of the first and second groups in accordance with the provisions of GOST 27751. It applies to envelop of high-rise buildings and facilities. Additional provisions are as follows: 1.1 A concept of "normative (standard) wind" is introduced as a schematized model of a surface boundary layer (SBL), and its mathematical formulation is provided for use in the design statement of aerophysical and computer simulation of wind loads. 1.2 Natural typical scale of normative wind is defined constituting grounds for making such concept as "high building" more specific and for determination of aerodynamic similarity parameter "height coefficient". 1.3 Generic criterion of normative wind action referred to as "basic (key) aerodynamic coefficient" of external wind loads is defined and its association with the respective individual determinations of aerodynamic coefficients in accordance with SP 20.13330.2011 is specified. 1.4 Procedure (rules) for the determination of basic aerodynamic coefficient on the basis of experimental (aerophysical) and computer (numerical) simulation is established. NOTE This standard provides standardized methods for the determination of wind load stationary component only. Issues related to the determination of wind load pulsation components shall be addressed via adoption of a separate standard for characteristics of turbulence and non-stationary blasts for normative wind. Approximate estimation methods for wind load pulsation components are given in SP 20.13330.2011. |
